My Gear

This is a list of the equipment and software I use to make my videos. Many of the links are affiliate links, so if you choose to buy anything I will make a small commission. But they are my actual recommendations.

My primary animation software is Adobe Animate CC (formerly known as Adobe Flash). I also use Adobe Premiere CC for all my tutorial and Minecraft videos. I use Adobe Photoshop CC to do all my custom Minecraft textures, YouTube thumbnails, and many graphical elements needed for my animations.

I pay $50 a month to get access to all of these programs through Creative Cloud. You can also choose just one app for $20 a month, or $10 a month for just Photoshop:

If you are a student you can get access to all apps for $20 a month. There’s no option for just one app, except Photoshop for the same $10 a month:

To record my screen, I use a free program called Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). You can find that here.

To record and edit my audio, I use another free program known as Audacity. You can find that here.

Wacom Intuos4
This is the tablet that I’ve been using for the past few years. It comes in three sizes, Large, Medium and Small. For me, Medium is large enough, especially since I am mostly drawing stick figures.

Samson C03U
Affordable and high quality microphone, used for all of my voice recording.

TeckNet X702
Very affordable and high quality keyboard, I’ve programmed the M keys on the top to type the URL of my animations since I have to grab the links so often when writing emails and reporting copyrighted content.
